Whinyard Rocks

Project description

Whinyard Rocks needed an identity that felt as raw and unpredictable as the landscape it comes from.

The logotype uses deliberately wonky typesetting, mirroring the irregular terrain and hands-off approach to winemaking. It’s loose, characterful, and unmistakably non-traditional.

This thinking carries through into the label design. Bold, expressive, and slightly unruly, the labels reflect the punchy, fruit-forward wines inside while cutting cleanly through the visual language of more conventional bottles.

The result is a distinctive, confident identity that embraces imperfection — capturing both the spirit of the vineyard and its place in the landscape.
